happy new year!

well today was fun! i went to bed after feeding carson at about 6:00 this morning and travis decided to tell me that he broke the computer. so that is what we have been doing all day... trying to figure out how to get things back. all that i really cared about was the pictures that we had on there, they were mostly of carson and his first two months of life. we figured out how to get those out and we are currently waiting for our computer to reformat, er something. right now, carson is sleeping, travis is making a totinos pizza (ick) and i am "blogging" thanks to rachel. she set up her blog a few days ago and it inspired me to keep this online journal of my family's life. yes, it may be very boring to others but it is fun to do and hopefully i will get some pictures up here soon. carson is nine weeks old and on saturday he rolled over... two times. he obviously had no clue what was going on but it was pretty funny. his legs were just going crazy and kicking and then all of the sudden he was on his back! we moved him back to his tummy and he did it again. those skinny little legs sure have a lot of power.
last night we went to a new year's eve party at trisha, travis' sister, and brian's house. they had some friends and family over. it was very fun, we ate some yummy chipotle taco things and played charades, catchphrase, and the wii. we are old and we left because, well, we are old. it was way past carson's bed time anyways.
well it looks like the computer is ready for action.
