Monday, Monday

Well, it is the start to a new week and with it only being 10:00 in the am, things are going pretty smoothly so far. Carson is now 4 months old and he has his next doctor's appt. on Thursday. I can't wait to see how much he has grown over these past 2 months. He is so cute and last night he was actually cuddling with me a little bit. Usually when we read him books we lay on the floor next to him or we hold him in our lap (facing out) but last night he let me hold him on my shoulder, like he was being burped. That is definitely out of his comfort zone... I think he was just really tired. He is also so close to rolling over from his back to his tummy! He gets his whole body over and his face is face down in his blanket or the carpet or whatever and his arms are in the way. He hasn't quite figured his arms and hands out completely. He does know that he likes to suck on them! Sometimes we are in the other room and all of the sudden we hear his sucking noise and when we go look at him his arms/hands are soaking wet. Overall, Carson is just a happy little baby. He is the happiest when we are at home, though. He can only handle so much of being out and about and in his carseat. He loves napping in his own bed (crib) and usually wakes up playing! We always hear him laughing in there and then when we go in to check on him, he just smiles at us. It just melts my heart. Carson is such an enormous blessing to our family and I am so greatlful to my Heavenly Father for trusting us and sending him here to live with us!!
