Well, I have been completely lame at blogging lately. I like to call it being in a funk... and boy have I been in one. I don't know what the deal is but I am so unmotivated lately. And when I get tired and don't want to do anything, my first thought is, "ooh, I bet a coke will make me feel better!" and 3 cokes later it usually does.
So we haven't really been up to much lately. Travis has been working his butt off this summer. He usually leaves for work at about 3:30 or 4 in the morning and has been getting home usually around 8 or 8:30. When Carson started crawling, it was a Tuesday, Travis didn't even get to see his new skill until Friday night! So that is definitely part of my funk... it is Carson and me all day and no Dad to play with. I am not complaining about the Carson part... that is definitely what keeps me happy!
Last Friday Travis' mom took us out to eat and we all hung out. It was Travis' mom, Trisha, Logan, Trina, Carson and Me. We went to BJ's to eat lunch and got deep dish pizza. It was so incredibly yummy! It even had mushrooms and black olives on it (which I don't like) and I was eating every bite. And right as I was being like Bob on What About Bob--yumm, mmmm, mmmmm-- (seriously, that part of the movie is classic) I bit down into something hard. With me being the sugar and pop connissuer that I am I figured oh great, there goes another tooth. Nope, it was a piece of metal. Of course I didn't get a picture of the metal, the tasty pizza or any of us just hanging out. Long story short, the little piece of metal got us all free food and don't worry I will still go back, that pizza was so good.
Lately we have also been playing DDR quite a bit. Every time that Trisha and Brian come over. Brian somehow seems to be the champion... even when holding Logan. Travis is the polar opposite. And while I love him so much, that is just not something that he is very good at! He says his feet are too big!
We also have been doing quite a bit of grilling out and going to the pool. The food is so good and we eat outside under the misters and just hang out with friends. That is definitely my favorite part of living in these apartments. The pool is a beach entrance and the gas grills down at the pool make it so easy to cook out and eat outside!!

well... you might not want to move over into the "ghetto" then! No sweet pool or misters over here! :) Oh and I totally know what you mean about being unmotivated lately - I rarely even shower anymore! :0 I'm just so lazy. I think it's the heat??!!
Seriously, DDR is my new favorite thing to do on friday nights! And go swimming and frill at the pool! I just can't get enough of it! I love the dorky pics of us attempting to do DDR!!!
