11 Months

Carson is now 11 months old!! Only one more month left and he is 1! I just don't feel like he should be old enough to be doing a lot of the things he is doing. He is cuter and happier than ever! I love him!!

These are some of things that Carson is doing right now:

He walks down the hall, usually with 1 toy in his hand, gets to the end and turns around and goes back. He repeats that over and over.
                            • He loves to play with his toys by himself, but pretty much only if there is music playing for him. We put a stereo in his room and always play his Primary CD for him and he seems to be pretty content with that.
                            • He likes to go in a room and shut the door. He can't open them yet, and usually gets mad when he is stuck somewhere. But he just can't help himself and he still closes the door.
                            • He still has a love/hate relationship with the vacuum. When he walks into a room and the vacuum is there he always goes towards it and touches it, and then when he gets too close, he starts to get upset. He usually doesn't mind it when the vacuum is on, but when it gets turned off -- he cries!
                            • Carson is eating a much bigger variety of foods now. And he is getting a little less excited about us feeding him. He likes the finger foods. He loves rice and beans and chicken. He loves cheerios and those puffy baby foods. And he is finally warming up to yogurt. He still likes all of the things he liked 4-5 months ago. And he eats much better than we do.
                            • Carson just took his second plane trip and was an awesome little boy. He sat on my lap the entire time and read books and listened to his music. It made me feel like he was so big. When I had to turn off the electronic devices on the flight, he was entertained by my gum and laughed the whole time. When we got off of the airplane, other passengers asked if that was the little boy that kept laughing.
                            • He absolutely adores his Daddy. When we came home from our weeklong trip to Utah, Carson saw Travis and laughed and giggled. He saves those special laughs just for Travis. He didn't do that the entire time we were away.
                            • Carson is sleeping better than ever. His bedtime is 6:30 and he loves it. If it starts to get later he gets really tired and when we put him in bed he just lays there and you can tell he is ready for bed. He still takes two naps each day and when he is awake is happy and active!
                            • He loves bath time. He likes to chew on his rubber duckies and just sits there and kicks and kicks the water. I always sing "Rubber Ducky" to him and he always looks at me and laughs. I love it.
                            • He can easily hold his own bottle, but doesn't like to. And he doesn't like to eat his bottle anywhere but in our arms. He does pretty well in the stroller (laying back a little bit) but throws the bottle. The only time he will eat the whole thing is if we are holding it.
                            • He still loves to watch his Baby Einstein video. But he hasn't done any signs yet. Oh well.

There are so many things that he is doing and learning every day. His walking is getting so much better and he can even put his arms by his side sometimes (I think he picked that up from seeing his cousins running around.) He loves to explore things and chew on everything and he loves to just follow us around. And he likes to copy us, especially with noises. We love Carson so much and I know Travis really missed him while we were gone. I can't even imagine not seeing him for a whole week... I don't think I could do it. He is going to be such a good big brother!

WARNING:A lot of pictures to follow... It's my blog and I'll post pictures if I want to!!

                            **Helping me around the house

**After church, chewing on his toys and staring at his dad

**Playing with a truck in the backyard in Utah. I love how green and soft the grass is.

**Of course, chewing on stuff again. I just love his eyes in these pictures... they look so bright!! (The boogers and snot are always cute too)

                            **Laughing/fake coughing

**You can't tell but he is eating the leaves off of that bush/tree right next to him. He was so happy about that.

                            I LOVE YOU, CARSON!
