to popo-
you are my favorite brother. i like to spend time with you. i like it when you play in your toys and i help you play with them. yesterday you were laying on your tummy and i sat on you and said "horsey" because i like that game. you like it to. every time mommy sings it you smile really big. i like to talk to you before we go to bed. sometimes you cry really hard and i can see your arms and legs sticking out of the crib. before we go to bed, we like to read books together and say our prayers. when you are crying i try to go talk to you and sometimes mommy says that i wake you up. but you are already awake. i am just trying to say hi. i like it when you go everywhere with us, that is why i try to pick up your carseat and carry you to the car. you are heavy. i like to sit in the car next to you. someday when you are big like me you will get to look at mom and dad in the car, like i do. it is really cool. sometimes you sit in my high chair and it makes me kind of mad. i try to pull on your legs but you never seem to come out. you don't like your food very much so i always want to eat it. you really like to watch videos. i like to watch them too. i am waiting for you to get bigger so we can run around together. right now, you lay around a lot. i love you.
love,
your big brother, carson Making a funny face, showing off his tooth
sleeping, eating-mostly formula-but he likes sweet potatoes a little bit, keeping his eyes on carson or the tv at all times, smiling at carson, laughing at baby einstein, being tickled by his daddy, rolling over from his back to his tummy, getting stuck on his tummy and yelling at us, waking us all up at 6 am because he is stuck on his tummy, falling asleep while I am holding him, chewing and sucking on things-especially his hands, playing in his exersaucer, kicking his legs, smiling at the women at church, being tall, doing the cobra, getting up on his knees, scooting backwards, having people look or talk to him
Porter is happy most of the time and we love him so much. We can't believe he is already 6 months old. Yesterday he got up on his arms and knees for the first time and now he is working hard to perfect that. Crawling is right around the corner and I am not sure if we are quite ready for that--he will probably just follow Carson around all day. He still only has one tooth and it keeps getting bigger... very cute. He is still an awesome sleeper and he still hates his car seat.
Even though it is still over 100 degrees here, I had to get a picture of Porter in this Suns outfit before he outgrew it. The onesie wasn't even close to snapping... barely got it in time!
28 inches long (92nd percentile)
18 lbs. 12. oz.

What a cute and sweet boy. We can tell that Carson really loves him, and so do you. I wonder why your boys are so tall!

I can't believe he is 6 months old and I've yet to meet him in the flesh!! Waaaa! That's me pouting. He is dang cute and look so much like Carson!
Umm! I am obsessed with your kids...and the pictures that you take of them. You're such a good Mommy! I can't wait to see how my boys interact. I just love that there is so much love at your house.
Love and miss you guys!!!
Oh my gosh, seriously, your kids grow soooo stinkin fast. Jaxon only weighs one pound more than Popo, and I think they might be the same height. Anywho, he's adorable. I like the picture with Carson blurry in the back, it's funny! I also like the suns outfit. So cute. And what else, hmmmm, oh ya, I can't wait till it cools down a little more so we can go to the park!!!! YAY!!
