My little boy is getting older every day. He is already 26 months old. Wow! It is hard to keep track and write down all of the things he is doing. His vocabulary is getting better. He is saying more things every day and pronouncing some things closer to how they should sound. A couple of weeks ago he quit calling Porter "Popo" and now calls him "Powa." I wanted to cry because we all now call Porter "Popo." And it just means they are growing up. He repeats a lot of the things we say, exactly. And I think that is how he knows so many songs. He can just repeat them back to you.

He is definitely is an outside boy and could stay out there all day.

He has been acting like Porter a lot lately. Which means, less words and more crawling around and yelling like a baby. It is slightly annoying especially when we are trying to go somewhere and he decides to crawl. All of his pants have holes in the knees from doing this. We are just hoping it will pass once Porter starts walking. He also reenacts everything that Porter does that gets attention. That is why he is stuck under this chair. That is Porter's favorite place to get stuck.

Carson "made" a turkey hat in nursery at Thanksgiving time. He put it on and would say "Gobble, Gobble". Here he is after church still wearing it, even though it is falling off.

Carson has very hairy shoulders and the hair sticks straight out. In the mornings you can always see them because the sun is shining in. It cracks me up.

He loves anything with a steering wheel and loves to pretend to drive. He got in this car at the Veteran's Day Party and just sat and acted like he was steering for a long time.

Playing a little RockBand at the Veteran's Day party.

This is Carson and his monkey. He loves this thing and takes it EVERYWHERE. It is going to fall apart because it gets washed so often. This is Carson giving Monkey kisses.

Right before this picture I told Carson it was time to go. He went through a little phase (about 2 months) where he had to take all of his stuffed animals with us everytime we left the house. This seems to have ended, now it is usally just Monkey and sometimes Cubby Bear or Wrigley. I am glad he decided on just one because it was getting out of hand... he couldn't even carry all of them.

Carson loves trucks and cars. The bigger the better. He likes to line them up just like in a parking lot. Then he takes turns running them up and down the hall. I am sure the guy downstairs loves us! When Porter comes and messes up his line he just puts it right back.

Here is Carson just hanging out in his bed. Which has since been put back into a crib for Porter and Porter's crib put into a bed for Carson. Carson kept climbing INTO Porter's crib in the mornings and waking him up (usually by kicking) and now it is a little too high and he can't seem to get in there. And now Porter is sleeping until 8:30 again on most days. Thank goodness!
Carson is sweet and usually happy. But when he does throw tantrums it takes all of my energy. He is very active and busy and pushes Porter over a lot. We can't get him to understand that it is hurting Porter. When Porter cries, I think that Carson thinks he is playing. I feel bad for Porter. We have to constantly be watching them. When he isn't the pushing kind of mood, they play so well together.
When Porter is sleeping, Carson always wants him to be awake to play. He loves to hide and let Porter find him. And he just laughs and laughs.
I am so thankful for Carson in our lives. He surprises us every day with cute things. We love him so much!
