Porter turns 10 months old!

Porter turned 10 months old.

He is growing fast and his personality is really coming out. He is such a happy kid. As soon as you look at him he gives the biggest grin. He is very aware of things. He likes to clap. He likes to stand up (still with our help) and really likes to stand up on his knees.

He loves noisy toys. We have metal chairs in our kitchen and he grabs his toy, crawls right over to the chair and just drops his toy on it, over and over. That is probably one of his favorite games to play. And he almost always has a toy in at least one hand while he crawls around. He has a little toy basket that has more baby-friendly chew toys in it. He goes for the taller basket with more of Carson's toys and just empties it out. His absolute favorite things to chew on are wooden puzzle pieces. But I don't let him because it ruins them. It is seriously like having a dog in the house (he loves shoes, also) except he wears a diaper and I don't have to "take him out."

He gets teeth in threes and when that happens he is up ALL night and super cranky! He now has 9 teeth. Two months ago he had 3!

He is getting tall and not getting any chunkier. He hates all food still. It isn't really that he minds it, he just doesn't like to eat. He always wants a bottle. He gets excited to sit in his high chair and then will NOT open his mouth for anything. He also gags on everything, even pureed food. He should be able to start eating table food and he is still choking on the pureed stuff. I don't know what we will do when he isn't supposed to have formula anymore??

... Stuck and mad the next

When he was first crawling he would get stuck everywhere. In this picture it doesn't look like he is stuck, but he was.

Obviously, this picture is an older one. He has way more teeth now.

Porter gets bumps and bruises on his head all the time, especially his forehead.

He loves to fall asleep in the stroller while walking around. And he LOVES bathtime. This wasn't his bathtime, it was Carson's and he was so jealous.

Watching tv together

Porter was so mad that this box was there that morning. He couldn't get close enough to the tv to watch his shows.
