Hudson turned 2 months old! I still couldn't manage to take the picture on the actual day that he turned (the 6th). And maybe I shouldn't put him in a brown onesie with a brown couch??
He is starting to be awake more and more and still hardly every cries. He still grunts alot. He eats about every 3 1/2 to 4 hours throughout the day and then in the evening he won't go to bed (easily) without his bath. We give him a bath and feed him and put him to bed usually around 8 or so. He has been waking up once in the night and that is usually around 330 or 430. Then he wakes up around 730 for the day. He is a good eater and his cheeks are getting chubby.
He went to his 2 month well check yesterday. He weighs 11 lbs 7 oz (25-50%), 23.5 inches long (50-75%), and his head was 39 cm (25-50%). He is still long and skinny and wears onesies all the time because the waist of shorts are so big. Hudson falls asleep on his own but also loves to be rocked to sleep. It takes about 3 minutes if he is tired. I love to cuddle with him. He is smiling and making a "gggg" sound a little bit. He likes me to sing the theme song to Super Why (Carson and Porter love it too). But his favorite song to be sung is "Teach Me To Walk In The Light". He calms down and just stares at me when I sing that one. Last week I was laying on the bed next to him singing it and he just softly shut his eyes and fell asleep. It was so cute, I didn't even rock him or anything. So peaceful.
Hudson also really likes his carseat. That thing must be so comfortable for him. He sleeps through all of church just sitting in there, and pretty much anywhere else we go. If we are out of the house, I have to wake him up to feed him. He could sleep for hours in that thing! Such a nice relief after Porter who hated it from day 1.
Hudson is happy and healthy and we love him so much. He is so special and I just lay around with him and talk to him and smile and take it all in. We have a special bond. He is my buddy!

Grandpa says he is porking out. He looks twice as big as when we saw him. And his eyes are so blue. If I were there, i would take in his pants so he could wear them. We love you Hudson.
