This time I actually managed to take the picture and blog it on the day that Hudson turned 3 months!
Hudson is happy and healthy and is growing like a weed. He smiles anytime one of his brothers walks by or whenever somebody talks to him. He likes to spend time in his car seat, in his bouncy seat, having tummy time, playing under his toys, in the bathtub, sitting in his swing, or being in someones arms. He is so happy and NOT fussy that sometimes I forget he is even downstairs with us and think he is napping.
He is on the same schedule that he has been for most of his life--eat every 3 1/2 hours, play for about an hour and then sleep for the rest of the time until he eats again. He is starting to be able to stay awake a little longer now.
He will fall asleep anywhere. Last week I gave him a bath, put his pajamas on him, read him some books and then answered the door. When I came back he was laying on the floor in the middle of the living room and had fallen asleep just like that--no pacifier, he wasn't wrapped up in his blanket, he hadn't eaten and the lights were all on and I never heard a peep.
He likes to listen to us read to him. His favorite books are Goodnight Moon and The Very Hungry Catepillar. At least those are the ones we read to him, he seems to like them. He also loves to be sung to.
I finally took the newborn inserts out of his car seat (which I think you are supposed to do after 10 lbs.-oops) and if possible, I think he likes it even more now.
He puts his hands together and has rolled from tummy to back. He gets really close to rolling the other way, back to tummy, but usually quits once he finds his hands to suck on.
He is my only kid who will take a pacifier (at this age - Carson took one starting at 5 months) but he usually goes to bed and spends most of the day without it.
Hudson is just so sweet and I love him so much. I can't believe how quickly he is growing up. He isn't a newborn anymore. It is sad, but good.
We all love you so much Hudson. You bring so much joy and happiness into all of our lives. We love watching you grow!

Still love those cheeks. And the do! Give him lots of hugs and kisses from Grandma Margie and Grandpa Norm.
Ok, he seriously carries %50 of his body weight in his cheeks! I LOVE him, and he's such a good, sweet little boy.
