Guess who is 6 months old?

It is getting harder to take a picture of Hudson on the couch sitting up because he is getting bigger and more wiggly.

Hudson FINALLY started to sleep through the night, just this week.  He was the total opposite and had been waking up usually 3 times a night for the past month and half and Monday night (January 3rd--3 days shy of 6 months) he slept until morning.  He has been going about 12 hours and wakes up with Porter in the mornings, happy as can be!

He went to the doctor today and is kind of falling on the growth curve.  So we need to feed him more food.  I had cut back to once a day with real food but I guess we will be going back to twice a day for now and try to get some meat on his bones... or more on his cheeks, whatever it takes!  He weighed 15 lbs. 12 oz and was 27 inches long.  He has also had a rash that we can't get rid of for about a month. I keep taking him to the doctor and we try something new each time but nothing has helped so far.

Hudson got his second tooth shortly after the first one came in.  I think it finally broke through on Christmas Day.

Hudson always wants to be seeing and watching what is going on.  He can hardly eat (breastfeed or table food) without constantly being distracted by the other boys.  He has quite the voice too.  He talks and babbles and screeches all day long.
He is getting stronger on his tummy, he lifts up to his hands and uses his arms to turn his body in a circle or to reach far to get the toys that he wants.  He also still loves his swing and especially when we attach the little toys on there, that go over his lap.  He loves bath time and having us sing him songs and being read to.  He loves to roll around or play in his exersaucer.  He reminds me so much of Porter at this age, just standing in the exersaucer watching what his brothers are doing.  Porter used to just stare at Carson with a huge grin and that is exacly what Hudson does.  The boys love him and always want him to say hi to them.  Porter still loves to give him hugs.

I let Hudson play on the floor, walked into the kitchen to get stuff out of the dishwasher and came back and couldn't find him.  I don't know how he got under the couch like this, but it scared me and I am glad he didn't get hurt.  I will not leave that up anymore!

With Grandma Grover on Christmas Eve.

Getting some kisses from Daddy.

At the park on Christmas Eve, he has some battle wounds from his fingernails.

Just playing with some of his toys.  He had quite the hairdo today.

Today he found out that his socks are delicious.

I love Hudson so much.  He is sweet and cuddly (usually) and I adore this kid.

How cute! He looks older in the first pictures on the couch. I hope his rash clears up soon and I also hope he gets some more meat on him, espcially his cheeks, poor thing. He really needs chubbier cheeks. Haha!

How is it that a baby can do something really gross like eat their socks, and it is the cutest thing in the world :)

Oh MY goodness he is so stinkin cute. I think he looks just like Carson in the 2nd picture from the top in his white onesie. And I LOVE his hairdo! What a cutie. And hopefully some of his weight that he gains will go to his legs right??? :)Oh, and I love the first 4 pictures..... he's just too cute.

Sorry, one last thing. His eyes are amazing in the picture of the closeup with his pacifier in his mouth. You can totally see you in his eyes! Very nice!

You are right, Trisha. I blew up the pacifier picture and I can see Em in his eyes.

i love the pics of him eating his socks. it must be a stage that i forgot about because annabelle does the same thing. it is most annoying when we are in the car and now with all the freezing cold weather it is a must that we wear shoes or she takes her socks off to snack: )

so smart to put the paper with birthday and age! My kids all look so similar it's hard to tell them apart
