Hudson is 11 months old. What?

Finally, a picture where his teeth show!

Hudson is 11 months old (and 1 day).  He is quite the handful but only in cute ways, of course.  He always wants to be wherever other people are.  So he follows us all around the house.  He loves to climb stairs and we need to teach him how to climb down.  He loves to play with cars, trains and trucks (surprise, surprise since that is all we have around here) and yesterday I discovered that he loves the vacuum.  It was still sitting out and he couldn't stop looking at it, finally crawled over to it and was driving his car up and down on it.  He says 'daddy' and 'dada' all day long.  But he can also say, 'no no' and the occasional 'mama' and today I found out he can say 'cheese'.  And that cracks me up.  He likes to copy, so if you stick your tongue out, he will too.  If you say kisses and lean in, he will too.  He is so smart.  It's not that I don't think the other boys are smart, because I do and in their own ways and with their own interests, but Hudson just gets a lot of things that I don't remember them even acknowledging when they were that little.
Hudson is always crawling over to Porter's booster chair and trying to grab the food, or spoon, or cup, or toy, whatever he can get.  Too often he grabs the whole bowl of cereal.
He likes those little puff things, chicken nuggets, taquitos, and multi grain cheerios.  Besides that he still eats mush.  He takes 2 good naps a day, eats 3 meals and 4 bottles.  He is starting to be fine with food and bottles that are slightly cooler in temperature.  He went to his first movie at the movie theater for Summer Movie Fun and it was Clifford.  He was tired and cried the whole time.  He is super wiggly and that is why we will keep him in the infant carrier as long as possible, especially for church.  I think he might be 2 before we give that up.  He only cries if you walk into a room, he sees you and then you leave.  Or if he is really hungry or sees his bottle.  Or if he throws his pacifier out of his crib before he goes to bed.
I dont' think he has gotten any more teeth in months. But his hair is growing like a weed.  It seems kind of dark but still has the same tint to it as Carson's and Porter's.  Probably the darkest out of the 3.
He loves us and we love him.

This is a picture of Hudson actually saying 'cheese!'  But I also like how when I put him on the couch, he crossed his legs like this.

Then he got sidetracked and was playing with his car.

And then by the sign.  Anything within reach that he can chew on, he does.

Carson wanted to sit by Hudson and help him hold the sign.

WE tried to get all 3 to smile or say 'cheese' or 'swimming' but no.  Of course, that is way too much to ask.

I love his smile! A little freaky with those teeth, but love it anyway!  He really enjoys bathtime.

This picture was taken like 2 weeks ago and he had on the exact same outfit today.  Hmm, I think I need to rotate his clothes.  Oh and look at that he has cars in his hand and is chewing on one, the SAME one as the other pictures.  NOT a coincidence!

Just so sweet... and messy.  What a big boy!

When we were there, he and Grandpa Norm were taking turns sticking their tongue out at each other. He is so cute and so sweet. And yes, very busy.

And I love the last picture because his chubby cheeks are back!

He looks so tall and old in these pictures! He has so many teeth. He seems like such a good kid. I'm always impressed he stays in the carrier as well as he does! I hear ya on that one- when we stop bringing the carriers to church we're in major trouble!
