HOT, HOT, HOT

Dear Summer,

I am getting sick of you.  Please end.

Too hot to be Sincerely,
Emily

Carson made a city outside.  He used all the lightpoles, trees and people that came with the train table.  Those are his new obsession.  They are currently being used RIGHT by the front door and everytime one of them gets knocked over he gets mad.  Hudson likes to throw his soccer balls, basketball and baseball over there.  It is like bowling.  Carson also gets upset when he wakes up in the morning and immediately looks downstairs to find they have been put away!

Carson likes to fingerpaint.

Hudson's first try at pb&j.  He loved it.

But he also likes to share.

And I am not sure how he managed to get jam on his toe, but it made it's way down there.
Also, Hudson has officially started walking.  Maybe we should find him some shoes now.

I don't have any recent pictures of Porter for some reason.  He is quite the character, so maybe I should take some video.  Monday, he came up to me and said "Mommy, I am so mad because Hudson won't share with me."  I looked at Hudson and he was minding his own business underneath the kitchen table eating leftover cheerios from breakfast (that he threw down there).  Porter is a little sponge for anything that Carson says or does! He also HAS to pick out his own clothes now.  And his favorite color is orange, so the more of it he can wear at once the better!

We are ready to play outside again :(

Thanks for sharing with us!. Tell Carson that I got in big trouble in Kindergarten for finger with only one finger. Mrs. Updike said we were supposed to use fingers, hands and arms. I remember asking: "Then why is it only called fingerpainting?" She made me stand in the corner for a while.
I still love Hudson's chubby cheeks. I bet he smelled really peanutbuttery in those pics. And wherever Porter is, I bet he has a huge smile.
