Carson's Skills

Carson had habilitation with Bobi today.  She has been helping him write and color and do workbooks, which he loves. She let him keep one of her pencils, that is a little bit bigger and chubbier.  He and Porter were taking turns using it and drawing.  Usually they put chicken scratch all over and then tell me what it is.  And I of course, tell them it's beautiful.  So when Carson told me he drew "Carson" I was surprised to see this.  I told him how much I loved it and asked him if he would write his name on the paper so I would know who it is.  He did.  I did not know he could do it.  It was really cute too, because he kept saying what each letter does, like "down and around".  He wanted to keep it but I had to scan it first, so it will forever be saved.  Now he wants to hang it up in his room.  I give it a week in there.  (So thanks to my neighbor, Marian, for letting me use her scanner!)
The first picture is the original, the second one is with my labels.
Carson is always full of surprises. Love him.

That is SO cute. And you did not need to add your labels. I could make everything out! My genius grandson!

His location of the letters makes me remember a picture of a cow that Garrett once drew. He didn't have room for the udder below the cow, but knew the cow needed one, so he placed it on the cow's head.
TADA!

I love that you scanned the picture so you can keep it. Those first drawings are so sweet--especially down the road when your kids are big!
