Today is FUN Friday. Last night as I was falling asleep I was thinking about what we were going to do today. I decided to give the day a name (I know fun Friday is super creative) and let each kid pick one fun thing that they wanted to do and we could go do it. Carson woke up and wanted to go to the carwash, but later changed his mind. I had to put a couple of limits on it, because I knew Carson would come up with some extreme ideas (i.e. California, vacation, buying a lot of things at the store.) They all picked one thing and we drew names to see what order we would do them in.
Porter went first and picked the park.

Then we got in the car and Porter told me the park is really, really hot. He wanted water.
On to Chick-Fil-A, Carson's choice. The kids played and actually got dirtier here than outside at the park.
And he got "wemonade."
Hudson's choice was the carwash.
Or was it?
We came home to take some naps and then plan to continue FUN Friday with some fingerpainting and halloween cupcakes. Hopefully, topped off with a date night--I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Such a good idea. Sometimes I wish I was better at being a fun mom. I'm really good a nagging, though, so there's that. :)

I love that your kids love the car wash...Brooklyn does also. But she likes it because they have a fish tank.
