I need to blog more often. I don't know what my deal is but I have not been taking that many pictures lately. Here are some randoms from my camera and a little bit of what has been going on. The kids are growing and changing the funny things they are doing and saying every single day!
This was a previous FUN Friday outing. Porter chose "the red donut store" aka Basha's (also my favorite) for donuts. I am pretty sure it was lunchtime by then. Lunch of champions. Then Carson chose to go to Fry's to get more donuts and ride in the green car. We drove all over the parking lot looking for the green one but had to settle on blue. Also, I do draw the line sometimes and one donut is enough. I convinced Carson to get strawberries instead. Then when I saw the price of the watermelon, I changed his mind to that!
We were browsing the toy aisles looking for a violin for Carson--he loves Little Einsteins--and found some awesome new cars instead. They each picked out their own. I don't always let the kids get whatever they want like donuts and toys, but it was a good, fun day and the cars were only 89 cents. And those cheap toys make them so happy for such a long time!
Hudson climbs and sits on the train table. The boys get mad at him because he is in the way of their building. He also climbs onto the kitchen table way too much. He keeps getting caught eating their leftover meals. We haven't perfected them cleaning their places.
The boys got some pretty sweet little trucks from Grandma Margie and Grandpa Norm. They love them. They are really fast and bounce all over, so they are pretty fun to play with.
Hudson had to try his new hat on to see if it fit.
I asked Porter if he had been eating chalk and he said "no." He even opened his mouth to show me. And if the outside wasn't evidence enough, he has pink chalk in his teeth. I am thinking our next Family Home Evening will be about telling the truth.
Hudson cannot stand to stay inside when the other boys are out. He says "shoe" repeatedly until you let him go out there. He stands at the sliding door watching them and if you even think about trying to pick him up to take him away he will throw quite the tantrum.
Carson thinks that everything is silly and hilarious lately.
I love the look on Hudson's face as Porter is ripping toys out of his hand.
Carson had to put his friends in their beds before he took a nap.
Random picture of Hudson in all of his cuteness.
All of the boys had hand, foot & mouth disease (without us knowing) and Porter was the last to get it. Here he is at lunch. So sick and sad. It took him over an hour to eat 1 piece of pizza. Poor kid, so pathetic.
The same day, this is Hudson at lunch. This is his I am up to something, so I will kind of smile at you so you think I am NOT up to anything and you will tell me how cute I am face
1 cracker at a time just isn't enough.
To say Porter is obsessed with orange would be an understatement. His two favorite orange cars, his orange sippy cup, orange plate, orange shirt and orange shorts which he picked out himself.
On his new big boy bed. He calls it his big orange sheet instead of his bed. And again, in an orange shirt. He gets so upset when the couple that he has are dirty.
Hudson likes to be like them. They were watching a show and eating a snack. He said cracker and climbed right up and plopped himself down right in between them.
Nothing crazy has been going on but they are still keeping us plenty busy!
