Happy Valentine's Day. I love fun holidays with my kids. It is always an excuse to color/paint/craft, make fun food and of course sugar cookies.
I made the boys tshirts again this year. I make a layout of what I want in photoshop and then my sister-in-law cuts it out with her silhouette. Then I use it as a stencil and use fabric paint. Last year I used both paint and iron on vinyl. But the vinyl kept coming off.
Carson last year.

Big muscles.
Porter last year.

Hudson last year.
Hudson this year.
Carson's valentines for his preschool class. After he left on the bus Porter and Hudson and I all shared some Pop Rocks.
Porter was flexing his muscles here.
It was cold and overcast this morning. As Hudson was climbing the tree he started hacking.
We made heart-shaped pizzas for lunch. Well the kids thought they were close enough to heart-shaped.
Porter and Hudson wanted to fill them up with pepperoni and cheese. Hudson doesn't have pants on--a diaper change gone bad.
As soon as they were done topping the pizzas, Hudson started picking the stuff off to eat.
It was a lot of fun, and they were so excited about making their own. I see an idea for Porter's birthday party!
Carson got off the bus and ready to eat.
And Porter started before the prayer.
After dinner we decorated heart sugar cookies. I put some sprinkles on Hudson's before baking, I didn't really want to deal with that mess.
Right after we finished the cookies it started raining and the kids were running back and forth between the front door and the back door to watch it, like they had never seen it before. Every time a car drove by they would yell, "Oh that car is getting all wet!"-- even Hudson was saying it. They are so random.
To end the day the kids decorated a cookie for Daddy, got dressed for bed and we turned off the lights and hid upstairs in a closet. We waited for their Dad to find us and then yelled "Happy Valentine's Day!" Then there was wrestling and jumping on Mommy and Daddy's bed before brushing teeth, saying prayers and going to bed for the night... at 6pm. Phew.
