Saturday we met some friends up in Fountain Hills to watch the fountain turn green. We just pulled out our fireworks blanket to sit on and enjoyed the wind. The kids are still talking about it and keep making fountain replicas at home.

That looks so relaxing. We did not go to Chicago for the green river. Never have. We went to indoor track meet at EIU where we were soon tired of hearing East St. Louis, Cahokia and Edwardsville.
How did I not know about the fountain turning green?? Just got added to my bucket list. Thanks!
