Saturday

Travis took Carson to the Easter Pageant last Wednesday.  When Carson came home he said he went to the temple, he ate ice cream and the temple had new lightpoles.  They lasted about 20 minutes before Carson wanted to come home and go to bed.  8:00 IS late for him.

We hiked A Mountain this weekend.  We had never done it and people kept telling us about it.  It is close by, short and easy enough for kids.  Although we didn't go up to the very top because the last little part is just steps and I had Porter and Hudson on my own.  But they still loved it.  About 1 minute into the hike Carson claimed he had to go to the bathroom.  So Travis took him down to Mill Ave. to find a place to go.  There was an arts festival and Travis got lost.  Ha, I always tell him he would never survive like Bear Grylls.

Anyway, we kept hiking and finally on our way down, we saw them coming back, too late to hike with us.  I love how it took maybe 5 minutes to get down from the mountain and be in the car.

Porter claimed everything on the hike.  "It's my hike.  It's my yellow A Mountain.  It's my crame (crane)."  And Hudson found someone's lid and straw. Nasty.

I had to carry Hudson down and hold Porter's hand because it was a little steep.  But a fun hike especially for the kids.  

Afterwards, we went to Fitch Park and the kids rode bikes. 

The Cubs were practicing, and Hudson wanted to go watch the baseballs.  The nice players and coaches kept giving him baseballs.  He was in heaven.

Saturday afternoon we colored and decorated Easter eggs.  Hudson was napping so he missed out on the fun this time.

Porter couldn't stop throwing eggs in the water, even if there was already one in there.  He just had to be touching something.
