I have been itching to do some new projects lately. I was sitting down watching tv one day and looked at The Living Christ and The Proclamation, since they are hanging on each side of the tv. I decided I was over the whole look/color scheme of the thing. I made them shortly after we got married. They were probably my first craft in our new place. But that was 6 years ago, and I am sick of the colors. I am most proud of this because I noticed it, wanted to change it and actually finished the project within a couple of days. I rarely finish my projects all the way, and never that fast. Even easy ones like this.
My old ones:
My new ones:
I just typed up each document and printed them at Costco--$6 for both of them. Bought a can of white spray paint for $3.50 and my project is complete for less than 10 bucks! Doing it my way means I get to choose my fonts and the layout. It is pretty much the same layout, but bolder, straighter fonts. I didn't proofread it. So hopefully there are no typos. I liked the old ones, I just needed a change. The new ones make the room brighter with just the small amount of white that they add. And I like the colors. The only bad thing is that The Living Christ before, had all the pictures of Jesus. Now I will have to add more pictures of Christ around our home.
