Hudson was hanging out on the swingset while I was at my workout class, or so I thought. I was in the garage and he was in the backyard. Then according to him "I thought you left me and another Mommy picked me up." (How is a 2 year old so articulate? And isn't that kind of sad, that he thought I left him? Breaks my heart) Apparently he was doing something on the jumpboxes and missed. He has a really fat lip, a chipped tooth and two of his teeth were pushed back towards his throat. I was able to get him in to see the dentist who looked for the missing tooth piece in his lip. He said that it should be fine. He broke blood vessels up in his mouth, so those teeth will probably turn gray. He said that should be temporary and they should move themselves back over time. And the chip should minimize as his teeth continue to come down and level out. So hopefully that is true and it heals properly. This kids smile is way too cute to be messed up! And he is the only one that is willing to smile for me, even when he can't do it. *See pictures below!
And Hudson began riding a bike without training wheels today. Exactly 2 years and 8 months old. He was so happy and riding all over with such a satisfied look on his face.

Tanner has a chipped too as well.
Poor kid. And holy cow on the bike! I think my boys were at least 6 before they'd ride without training wheels. Hadn't even occurred to me to teach Brielle to ride without them yet, and she just turned 5.
I hope his mouth is healing well. He is very athletic and coordinated like his mom when she was very young.
Riding a bike, potty-trained and talking in complete sentences? Jacob needs to hang out with Hudson a little more. Maybe some of his skills will rub off.
