Family Pictures... well at least the boys!

Back at the beginning of the summer I won a photoshoot from Liz at Red Bucket Photography through Make It and Love It. (You need to check out both of these wonderful websites... these ladies are awesome! ) So a couple of weeks ago we finally took the boys to Tempe and got their pictures taken. These are the results. There was a slight mishap with the Park Ranger and railroad tracks, but eh, it happens. And Liz managed to get all of these wonderful shots. I love these pictures so much. I love the colors, the brightness, the sharpness, and of course--the subjects! I had to make all of these photos bigger when I posted them because the small ones that blogger allows just wouldn't do them justice! And I couldn't just pick a few, so I posted them all--color and black and white! Thank you so much, Liz!

Now how do I decide which ones to put up on our walls??

Pictures of what Carson has been up to lately

Lately Carson has been slightly obsessed with putting on shoes... any shoes... his rainboots are the easiest so he wears those the most. As soon as he wakes up in the morning he finds some shoes to wear. Here he is with his dad's shoes.

I was doing some cleaning this morning and Travis saw a cool baseball looking shirt on the bed. He was saying how cute it was. I got this outfit from a friend for Porter (thanks, Deana). Travis thought it was for Carson and he ended up wearing it around all morning. He went outside to play for a little while with just this outfit and shoes. I am sad that there were not any pictures of that. I am pretty sure that the legs are supposed to be full length pants... for Porter! Oh yeah and I gave him a haircut Saturday night. I won't use a #1 guard again... sooooo short.

Today was Carson's first day of swim lessons. He did a really great job, I am excited to see how much he learns in the next couple of weeks. He cried a lot today, but I think it will get better. This first picture is before swim lessons began. Happy as can be. The second picture is afterwards when I told him to say cheese. He got a piece of licorice at the end and had a death grip on that thing for about 20 minutes. Then when I asked him if he just went swimming he kept saying no. And then he fell asleep about 3 minutes into the car ride home. All that swimming (and crying) sure did wear him out!
