We signed Carson up for soccer shots. It is a 10 week program of skill learning. And so far I am impressed. Yesterday they learned control and dribbling and by the end Carson quit using his hands. There aren't any games, but there are scrimmages after each practice that the coach has warned us will be crazy!
I told Carson to go wait by the cones until it was time to start.
He did.
Working on some drills and really just learning to listen.
Every time I held the camera up to take a picture of Carson, Hudson would yell "cheese!!" so I had to take one of him. He has dried snot all over. Awesome.
Learning control.
Dribbling
I caught him in the middle of some sweet move.
They were supposed to be touching their noses to the ball.
I had so much fun getting him all geared up and watching him. Sure brought back a lot of childhood memories. Maybe after he makes a goal we will start getting him Peter Piper Pizza, right Mom! Oh man I lived for that when I was little. Soccer and pizza, my two loves!
Carson had so much fun out there, hopefully that continues. On the way home he told me he was done. And that he will play soccer at home, but not at the park anymore. He said because he was freezing. Once I turned up the heat in the car and I asked him again, he said he loved it. He is so fickle.
