Just in case any of you are NOT going to be lame for Halloween this year and pass out candy at your home, here is an article on what not to give out. I still remember when I was little, getting home to go through all of that loot and finding things that were dissappointing (and sometimes scary). I agree with the article, minus the candy corn diss. I love those things and Halloween is the only time I can find the Brach's brand anywhere. I would never pass them out to trick-or-treaters (hello... unwrapped candy). I also would add those nasty peanut butter candies. Those things are so sick, they must be $1 for a 5 lb. bag... yuck! I just got all grossed out just thinking of those (no offense if anyone hand those out)!

I will always think your love of candy corns is disgusting! Guess who else loves them?? Garrett! if you can believe that. He gets all giddy when he spots them.
I was thinking about you, me & candy corns on Tuesdays doing garlic bread yesterday while I was at CVS looking at the candy (didn't get any though). Dan was also saying the other night how he thought my mom is the ONLY person to combine honey roasted peanuts & candy corns. He's so silly.
I know who to give all my candy corns too now! The fun part of having kids is that I go through there bags and take all the good ones out for me and leave them with the suckers, carmels and candy corns. Hee hee hee.
Haha! You are so funny! I think we will hand out candy - better than taking our kids out (we will probably go to like 3 houses just for pictures) in the cold, plus we are doing trunk-or-treat tomorrow. Yay for ward parties. That Halloween candy you described is nasty. Not that many people even trick or treat anymore, can't people splurge a little for some good stuff? :)I remember some Charleston neighborhoods giving out king size candy bars, I wish I lived in one of those areas...
