Well, we tried to have a white Christmas this year but it didn't quite happen. Travis, Carson and I decided to visit my parents in Illinois. We are still visiting and having a good time with pretty much no responsibilities! When we got into town there was snow already here but after some pretty crazy weather changes (0 degrees and then 60 the next week) our Christmas wasn't white. We had a great time hanging out with my parents and my brother Josh and his family. We had a ton of yummy food and I was the last one sitting at the table. I like to say I am a slow eater, but really I helped myself to seconds... and thirds!
My parents got a real tree... my favorite part of Christmas! It smelled so good!

Carson and his cousin Megan got matching hats from Grandma and Grandpa Garrett.

Carson also got some new books from Grandma and Grandpa and once those were opened he was happy and entertained and didn't care what else was going on!

He also loved the box of cheerios and goldfish that came in his stocking!

Poor little boy doesn't have a clue that his dad put this tag on his forehead and walked around with it until I took it off.
Carson also has been wearing the pajamas that he got and he started playing with his new cash register that his cousins got him. It is one just like I had when I was a little kid. My brother said he remembers me playing with it all the time.
I also got to go to the movies with my good friend Ashley but somehow didn't get any pictures with her while we were both in town. We saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and thought it was way too long!

Looks like a fun Christmas! That's awesome you got to see Ashley - it reminded me that Lindsey came up from St. George & we didn't take any pictures either! I guess we were just to busy talking & hanging out. That's a bummer there was no snow in CHS, we have plenty of it here!
Em, you look soooo good! You are such a cute preggo! :)
I love that hat! and by the way, you don't even look pregnant in that first picture where you're wearing that gray sweater! You're still cute though!
