I just can't believe how big he is getting, both the way he acts and physically. My mom just bought him these pajamas and they are 2T and we just can't seem to keep the shirt covering his belly. I know I take a lot of pictures of Carson sleeping, but he is just so cute when he is asleep. Everytime I go in there (and yes it is probably way too often) he is in a completely different position. We always give him 2 pacifiers, one for his mouth and one to hold when he goes to bed. And lately he has been putting the extra one under his chin. The other night I had to turn him over to change his diaper and out popped that extra pacifier. Who knows why he does that.
Every night in the middle of the night Carson needs a diaper change otherwise he will soak through and wake up bright and early, really mad and really wet. I am not sure if it is the cheap diapers, the fact that he lays on his tummy with his butt in the air and it all comes forward, or that he drinks a lot of water everyday, or maybe just that he sleeps so stinking long at night. But every night, in the middle of the night Travis goes in there and changes his diaper and checks and makes sure he is warm enough and tucks him back in. He never wakes me up, and he never complains... he never even tells me about it. I just know he does it because Carson is dry when he wakes up and because there is usually a used diaper somewhere random other than the trash can. Travis loves him so much and it is so cute when he does things like that. Travis also wakes up with him every single morning. For some reason, I can't ever hear Carson. But I wake up when Travis gets out of bed. He also is the main bathgiver now that it is getting harder for me to put him in and out of the tub. I know he likes to give him baths, he says Carson likes Dad's baths better because they have more bubbles. And he probably does.
I am just so grateful to have a husband who is a wonderful Dad to our child and soon to be children. I am thankful that he is so helpful with Carson and I am sure will be with the next little boy. I love to watch the things that they do together and just smile at how much they love each other. I am so thankful for these 2 awesome boys in my life!

So cute. Travis, not you. Carson
Awww - I love the pacifer popping out of the diaper. So cute! Have you tried Huggies overnights - Dominic used to soak through everynight too. They are a bit pricey, but you only use 1 a night, so to me it's worth it. Plus you can use huggies coupons on them.:o) Just a thought.
How are you feeling? Do you start going to the Dr everyweek next week? I do! C-R-A-Z-Y!
Ok, Em, this is what we did for our Potty Britches...
We would put on a disposable diaper, a cloth diaper, AND a plastic diaper coverup!!! This seemed to hold in all his pee at night but it made his toosh sorta big! :) Also, we learned to stop letting him drink liquids about an hour before his bedtime.
Just a thought!!!! :)
Hope you are feeling wonderful... how's sleeping at night?
That is too funny! Yes, Carson, he is such a stinkin cutie! And growing oh so fast. It's so nice when your husband steps in towards the end of the pregnancy to help out. I got to the point where I didn't even bend over anymore. Brian called the floor the BLACK HOLE because if I dropped something I was NOT going to bend over to pick it up! LOL!!! Good times, and just think, you're almost done!
