Lately Carson has been slightly obsessed with putting on shoes... any shoes... his rainboots are the easiest so he wears those the most. As soon as he wakes up in the morning he finds some shoes to wear. Here he is with his dad's shoes.
I was doing some cleaning this morning and Travis saw a cool baseball looking shirt on the bed. He was saying how cute it was. I got this outfit from a friend for Porter (thanks, Deana). Travis thought it was for Carson and he ended up wearing it around all morning. He went outside to play for a little while with just this outfit and shoes. I am sad that there were not any pictures of that. I am pretty sure that the legs are supposed to be full length pants... for Porter! Oh yeah and I gave him a haircut Saturday night. I won't use a #1 guard again... sooooo short.
Today was Carson's first day of swim lessons. He did a really great job, I am excited to see how much he learns in the next couple of weeks. He cried a lot today, but I think it will get better. This first picture is before swim lessons began. Happy as can be. The second picture is afterwards when I told him to say cheese. He got a piece of licorice at the end and had a death grip on that thing for about 20 minutes. Then when I asked him if he just went swimming he kept saying no. And then he fell asleep about 3 minutes into the car ride home. All that swimming (and crying) sure did wear him out!

I don't know what to say. His tears make me so sad, but I know that swimming lessons are important, especially living in Arizona.
Awww... we learned that a 3 guard is short too. ;o) I like 4's & Dan always has to do a fade on the sides.
Hopefully he'll enjoy the swim lessons more next time & keep getting better.
haha! I love the baseball outfit on him. That is funny.
I am sure he will enjoy swimming more each time. The torture we put our kids through. :)
What a cute kid! I kinda like his haircut! :)
Awww, that's so cute, but sad too! It will be good for him! And the pic with him in the high water baseball outfit is too cute, and the PJ's!! I love that little guy!
That last picture is so sad! But stick with it. I always think that when moms ALLOW their kids to cop out of swim lessons, they are teaching them that "yes, water is scary." They HAVE to learn to swim...it's Arizona for crying out loud!
I love the dress up stage...so cute!
