Porter is 3 months old today. Where has the time gone? It is bittersweet. I love watching him grow and like to see the things that he can do, but he isn't a newborn anymore. He is chubby and smiley but his poop smells not so good, the newborn smell is gone and it is just going by too fast.
Porter's favorite things are smiling, laughing, sleeping, eating, watching Carson, chewing on his hands, sitting up and just looking around. He sometimes cries when he is tired or can't fall asleep, but most of the time he only cries when he is very hungry. And gets sidetracked very easily by people talking to him.
His sleeping has been completely awesome lately. He has his bedtime routine (bath, books, prayer, eat, bed) and goes to bed at 630 with Carson. Then I wake him up to feed him at 9 and he either doesn't even open his eyes during that feeding or he does and is so happy and social. The last couple of days he has been getting up at 730 (the same time that Carson gets up). He hasn't been waking up crying to eat either. He just coos a little bit and when you walk in he is so full of smiles. Then he eats and goes back to bed until 10 or 11. So he is an awesome sleeper, but sometimes I feel like I don't get to see him very much.
He likes the Baby Mozart, Baby Einstein video. Sometimes when we are getting ready we put him in his bouncer and let him watch some of that. He just sits there and laughs. It is so cute. I don't know how that can be that entertaining, but he loves it. He also adores Carson and is so entertained by him running around. He will bend and turn his body and head any way so he can see Carson. Two nights ago before bed Carson started giving him a goodnight kiss. That is big for Carson. And I think it helps Porter go to sleep.

He has started putting his hands together in front of his body and they look funny because they are so short. And I think he is getting better control and now can find his hands to chew on most of the time. He doesn't really like pacifiers, but will take them sometimes when I cuddle and rock him to sleep (usually only during church).
Porter's hair mostly fell out but I can see some fuzz already coming in. I hope it doesn't fall out too, because it is soft and I like it when the sun shines on it and I can see it all.
Porter is a happy, go with the flow boy (on most days) and we enjoy every second of being his parents and love him so much!

Cute cute! Time does go by so fast. Looks like you guys have been having fun.
I am jealous of what a good sleeper he is! What a good boy. Tell Porter that Dayton's favorite is Baby Mozart also. They will have to "hang out" and watch it one of these days. :)
Awe! I love him too! I'm so glad that everything is going so well for you guys! You'll have to teach me your trick for getting him to sleep so well and so long for when our baby boy #2 gets here! :) Miss you tons!

What sweet pictures of a sweet little boy! It is amazing how quickly they grow! You do an amazing job documenting your children's lives, I wish I were that together!
What a sweet baby. I can't believe how much he has pudged out since we saw him. Sometimes he looks a bit like Carson, but other times he does not, and in the first picture, he looks like he could be one of Rachel's boys.
How cute is Carson for giving him a kiss. Seriously, they are both growing so fast! It makes me sad... I never thought I'd be sad to see my kids and nephews grow up.
