Ok, people. I know my Mom is pretty much the only person that reads my blog. But if you happen to stop by, we need baby name ideas. Please! I only have a couple more weeks and have absolutely no clue what to name this little guy.
My rules (for my own children--I don't mean to offend if you like to do any of the following): I don't like "made-up" names, I don't like funky spellings, I don't really like the super traditional names, I like to put family names in there somewhere (middle names so far) but only our family really knows what those are, and I really don't want it to end the same way as the other two. So no, "er" or "on/en/in".
Travis' rules: he pretty much wants it to be something totally weird like Thor or Trivits! Ugh! So only pay attention to my rules. Thanks!!Our family:

Torie likes Wesley. Everett, Emmett, Emerson, Harley, Garrett, Santana, Anselmo, and Giles are some that I like. Dad likes Yancy and Clancy, but not Fancy or Nancy.
You've been posting so much! geesh where have I been? Oh that's right! Up to my eyeballs in kids last weeks of school activities and summer:)! What names are you considering? Then I'll put my 2 cents in.
Good luck on that one! Boy #3 was rough for me to come up with a good name -- here are couple "nontraditional" names we considered with Spencer -- Zane or Seth. . .just hold to your guns -- Jake did not want Spencer, but guess what? We have a Spencer :)
I like Isaac, Bode, Jenson, Emery, Nick, Johnny, Marek, Lukas (last two are my nephews names). :)
I agree with you Mom on Everett. I love that name. That is what we were going to name Annabelle if she was a boy. I also like Garrett and that would be neat since it is your maiden name. After watching The Blindside I totally want to have a boy just to name him Shawn Jr., but that is no help to you:) You could also go with Edward or Robert but I am guessing you would get a great big NO just like I did: )
hmmm...names are so hard! I also like the idea of Garrett since it is a your maiden name. Dayton is my maiden name... at first it was wierd to call him that but now I love it. Garrett Lee??? If I hear of any good ones I like I'll send them your way! Good luck!
so hard. our rule we didn't even know we were making was church names for our boys, and fun names for our girls. {brigham, elle, tatum, dallin, rigdon}. we have our next names picked out already, and i have to admit, i'm pretty protective of them. but they stay within those rules we've set.
i love names. they mean everything.
