Hudson -- 10 days old

Hudson is already 10 days old.  These past few weeks have gone by way too fast.  He loves to sleep and is an awesome eater.  Yesterday he was 1 ounce shy of being back to his birthweight (which they want him to be at by 2 weeks old) and he gained 6 ounces in 48 hours!  He doesn't like baths and likes to be swaddled nice and tight.  But he thinks he doesn't like to be swaddled.  He always fights to get his arms out but then once they are out he can't control the things and gets pretty upset.  He rarely cries, usually only when he is really hungry.  Once someone picks him up and talks to him he usually stops crying.  Also, when he is crying Carson always says, "Oh, Hudson, it will be ok."  Which is just too cute!  His little cord came off today.  And he does exercises daily with his daddy.  Travis helps him run and jump and get his arms moving, just like he did with the other boys.  I have given him one tummy time (which I need to do more) and he was ok for about 30 seconds.  I think that is pretty good at his age, we will keep it up.  I just love to cuddle him and hold him and smell him.  I love that he has hair and I think it is already getting thinner.  So sad.  I keep making it all stick up everywhere because I think it fits his name and his personality better.  He reminds me so much of the other boys.  He looks like both of them when they were newborns.  I really see Carson in the bottom half of his face, and Porter in the top half of his face.  And they all had the same body type.  Long and skinny arms and legs. 

Well, now he is awake and ready to eat...
