Hudson went to his 2 week check-up today. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. (7 oz. over his birthweight and gained 8 oz. in 7 days) He is still 20 1/2 inches long. Everything is looking good. He still sleeps all the time and we rarely even see his eyes open. Things that often make him fall asleep: being swaddled, eating, cuddling or holding him nice and tight, and burping him.
He had a playdate today with his new friend Brooklyn, er, sort of. He was out in the living room, sleeping, while my friend came over with her little girl and we ate lunch. That counts right?
Last week, my sister-in-law, Trisha and I got together and she took some pictures of Hudson. We did it in her garage so we could go inside every couple of minutes because it was sooooo hot! We were both drenched in sweat after about 3 minutes outside. Hudson was very cooperative and was asleep the entire time.
Her are a couple of the pictures that I liked (there are many more). I edited these ones and she is doing some editing too. I can't wait to see how they come out.
He seems to be changing so quickly. In these pictures and lately, he really reminds me of Carson. I will find a couple of Carson's newborn pictures to compare!! He is the sweetest, cuddliest little boy. I just hold him and talk to him (while he sleeps) all day. I just can't help giving him kisses on his teenie little cheeks!
The boys love to give him kisses and LOVE being so close to him in the car--3 car seats, nice and snug in the back seat of a little car. Porter steals his blanket every time we get in the car, but today he shared his sunglasses with Hudson. And Carson and Porter like to move his shade and look at each other and laugh. Who knows??

Those pictures are so cute!
...and Brooklyn enjoyed meeting her new friend Hudson, even though she ignored him the whole time, it was probably better that way.
He is cuddly, even though he's a lean machine. We will miss him and Carson and Porter too.
