Porter 15 month check up

Porter also went to the doctor yesterday for his 15 month check-up, even though he is almost 17 months.  We switched pediatricians and he got a little behind.  He weighed 23 lbs. 6 oz (25th percentile) and was 33 inches long/tall (80th percentile).  He is growing and doing great, despite not eating anything other than chicken nuggets, pizza, taquitos, yogurt, milk and any kinds of crackers or chips.

The doctor called him a monkey, which pretty much sums it up.  Notice the bruises on his forehead and he has plenty on his legs.  He climbs up on anything and everything.  He also puts EVERYTHING in his mouth and drools constantly.  He is so cute and so happy.  He has attitude and throws tantrums if he doesn't get what he wants.  He understands so many things and is trying to talk but all his words sound the same.  He points to things and jabbers and then smiles.  He is sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses.  When he is being shy he puts his hand over his nose or eye, I think he is hiding.

This is a picture of him yesterday saying "cheese" to the camera.  It seems like most my pictures of him lately are this close because he walks right up to the camera to say cheese and then he wants to see what it looks like. 

I can't even explain all of the funny things that he does every day.  He copies everything that Carson does, he wants to feed himself with a spoon or fork, he loves to push cars around and his favorite thing to play in is the trash.  But he can also be a good helper and throw things away.  He understands cleaning up and usually puts one or two things away, right before he gets them all out again.  He loves reading books and throwing toys to hear them hit the floor.

He sure keeps me busy, he is always on-the-go.  But he is just so sweet that I can't help but give him lots of kisses.  Love you, PoPo!
