Dear Grandma Margie and Grandma (Grandpa) Norm,
I had a really awesome birthday. Thank you so much for the presents and the cool Tonka Truck card.
Thank you for the cool truck with lots of buttons that make noises.
And the other things that my mom said she didn't get pictures of. (The Dr. Suess books and the Super Why! super-duper computer!
I love you and miss you!
Love,
Carson
Carson's birthday was Thursday. He turned 3! We had a good day. He got to go to school and have his halloween party. He came home with lots of treats in his backpack. We were going to make cupcakes but we got the free dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. I figured with halloween starting we didn't need more treats around. Or cupcakes that we would eat 3 of and then toss the rest out. Carson had a pretty typical day of playing outside and around the house. After his Dad got home from work we sang Happy Birthday (put candles in the donuts) and let him open his presents. We had a balloon for him and Porter and he got to wear his crown that he got from school. Carson had so much fun opening the presents. He loved them all and immediately asked us to open them. He took them to bed that night with him. We just got him a couple of Super Why! toys, because he LOVES that show. And my parents got him a truck and a Super Why! toy and 3 Dr. Suess books. Carson has a pretty great memory so I wouldn't be surprised if in a month he tells me that it's his truck from Grandma Margie and Grandma Norm.
I hope Carson had a great birthday. We all love him so much!
