P-R-E-S-C-H-O-O-L

Carson's first day of preschool was yesterday. Travis gave him a father's priesthood blessing on Sunday night.
I think things went well at school.  He saw the bus and did not want to get on it.  I had to carry him on and buckle him in.  The bus helper had to sit next to him.  He was screaming and tears were flowing and he kept saying "Mommy sit down."
He came home and his face wasn't red or puffy and he seemed fine.  His paper said that he was happy at school.  He talked my ear off at lunch.

Today he closed the garage door, handed me the button, took his backpack, walked on the bus and sat down all by himself.  He looked out the window and smiled and waved at me.
The bus driver also said when they turned the corner yesterday he was fine.  Really?  I had a hard time for the 2 1/2 hours he was gone, but he was fine at the corner?  I see how it is!

He wanted to hold Hudson for a picture before his first day of preschool (that he didn't really even know he was going to).

Holding the garage door button, which he LOVES!

He always looks so serious, he has a little smirk in this one.  I love it.

The bus leaving.  He was fine by this time.

Tear.

I was almost as worried about you as about him. I am glad he is doing OK. I know it will be good for him to have school and to interact with other children. Take more pictures.

I sure hope Travis knows how lucky he is to have you as a wife and as a mom to those boys. We love you all.

I cried when I read this blog! I'm so glad that he was ok once they hit the corner...but I'd be just like you...crying right along with him. I don't want to think about Jackson's first day of school...
You did good, tho, Momma! And apparently he did too! Great pics!!!
