We had Carson's birthday party on Saturday. I think he had a good time and I hope everyone else did too. I tried to have a Super Why! themed party, but I only found things to order online. Since I decided to do this party the weekend before, that wasn't going to work. So I did green and blue (Super Why's outfit colors). I printed some coloring pages off of pbs.org and had some masks that covered the kids eyes and I made green and blue sugar cookies in letter shapes.
Carson had 3 candles to blow out. He stood far back and tried to blow. And he doesn't really know how to do it, he just makes the noise like he is blowing them out.
Carson got to open his presents. He (and Porter) have been playing with them since! He loves them all.
We had the party at a park with a playground. And our friends were nice enough to bring their bounce house. That was a huge hit and a babysitter! And my brother smoked some pork butts and we had very tasty pulled pork sandwiches. Easiest party I have done.
My friend, Kristen, helped me make Carson's birthday banner, which I didn't get a picture of.

When we came home, the boys were so tired. Carson fell asleep next to his balloon and I thought it was cute!

Sure looks like a great party! Lots of friends and family. The cookies and cupcakes look yummy. I know the pulled pork sandwiches were delicious because Ethan's is a master meat smoker (is that weird to say?). Wish we could have been there.
