November 10, we took off both Carson's and Porter's training wheels and they took off riding. Who knew? Carson, 5 years almost exactly, and Porter, 3 years 8 months.
They both needed help getting the pedaling started with a little push. Now (3 weeks later) Carson has that part down and rides completely independently, but Porter still needs help starting. Carson was pretty mad about the training wheels coming off and wouldn't show me, so I don't have pictures of him from that day, on his bike. But Porter did great and Hudson trucks along on his balance bike. He can go pretty fast too! Porter is ready to move up to a bigger bike now because he does better on them and this small one he has to pedal so fast to keep it moving.

That's awesome! Spencer still hasn't figured it out yet but he hasn't practiced much either.
Good times! I distinctly remember when you learned to ride.
