Spring Break 2014

The first day of Spring Break was St. Patrick's Day.  So we headed up to Fountain Hills to meet some friends, play at the park and watch the fountain turn green.  

None of us got pinched.

We went for walks and played outside.

Doctor's visit for Porter.  I thought he had ringworm, but apparently it was eczema.  Still not too sure that is the case.

Wednesday morning we went to California.  We went to San Clemente for 2 days and stayed right by the beach.  

While there I found out that this is where my Dad used to spend his summers at their beach house.  How fun to hear so many stories about him being a beach bum as a teenager, stuff I had never heard before!

Emma's first time in a swimsuit, going to the beach, staying in a hotel and putting her feet in the ocean.  She was such a trooper and it was as easy as could be expected with a 3 month old!

Man, I love her!

Friday afternoon we went to Newport Beach and then stayed at Travis' sister's house. 

These boys LOVE the beach.

Saturday we went to KnottsBerry Farm for the day with Aunt Tiffany.  The boys had a blast on the roller coasters and seeing Snoopy.  Carson even rode his first real (big) roller coaster.  

Carson went on a lot of rides with Aunt Tiffany!

The kids fell asleep in the car on the way back from that, so we packed up our stuff, I fed Emma and we drove straight home.  It was a long day and long week, but so much fun.  The weather was perfect, the water was chilly, the beach wasn't crowded and it took me half of the next week to recover!
