Playing

Earlier in the week the weather was rainy and cool. So we decided to let Carson play indoors. We took him to the mall playground and let him run around for a little while. He had fun and when most of the people left Travis played with him, went through the tunnel and put him down the slide... he loved it! Doing anything with his dad is his favorite. It took him awhile to not want to just hang out by us, but he warmed up to the weird foamy, plasticky toys.

Carson's manpris

On Tuesday, I went to get Carson dressed and put a pair of jeans on him that I swear he wore like 3 weeks ago... they were 2 inches too short. So I tried to find something else for him to wear that was long, because it was nice weather, but a little chilly. Everything in his drawers was either church pants or shorts. It was obviously laundry day. So I put him in these shorts that fit around his waist but were slightly long. They basically hit his ankles. I called them his manpris. And when the laundry was done I tried to change his clothes and Travis wouldn't let me. Travis tried to put socks on with his shoes, but that was just too much for me to try to handle... so no socks! Travis even did his hair that day and did a fauxhawk. What a proud Daddy! It was just entertaining to me to see him run around the park in these things!

Big Boy

In the last 2 weeks Carson eats all normal food and regular milk (not the fake powdery stuff), his car seat is forward facing and he learned how to go down the slide on his own. He obviously can't get up there on his own... but he loves it. Today he went down head first and thought that was the coolest.
Now that he is facing forward, he loves to look out the front of the car. When you turn around and try to talk to him he moves his head to see around you out the front window. Travis is convinced he is going to be a race car driver.

It is really nice to have this slide right outside our back window so we don't have to load him up in the car to go play.
