If You're Happy

The only way we can get Hudson to hold still during a diaper change is singing him a song.  I like this one because it keeps his hands occupied too.
I can't help it if he is darn cute.  He also is pretty obsessed with wearing Carson's birthday crown.
I am sorry that I am the one that has to be heard singing.

Serenades

Carson loves to sing and loves music.  He doesn't always quite understand the words or stay in tune but we don't care.  He is too cute.  He remembers so many songs and we have to rotate cds all the time.  When he was a very little baby and wouldn't go to sleep at night (pre-Baby Wise) we had a cd player in his crib that always played Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  It was the only thing that calmed him down, especially song #3.  Whatever works!  And now he requests music most of the time when he is going to bed.  Occasionally, we hear him singing at the top of his lungs.  Tonight it was a different song than what was playing, always entertaining.  His new favorite in the car is The Dixie Chicks.  Thank goodness, I can only handle so much of Baa-Baa Black Sheep and Jimmy Crack Corn.

His made-up dramatic ending might be my favorite part!
