If You're Happy
I can't help it if he is darn cute. He also is pretty obsessed with wearing Carson's birthday crown.
I am sorry that I am the one that has to be heard singing.

Carson Reading (reciting from memory)
These videos are mostly for Grandma and Grandpa Garrett who don't get to see Carson very often.
Here are some videos of Carson reading his books... in his own little way, but he gets some of the words right. He loves to read and always has. Now he wants us to read whatever book and then he will go through it himself (about 20 times) and read it. The first one is Goodnight Moon. This has been a favorite from day 1! And it cracks me up because practically every page looks the same but he still knows which pages are which. He also says this one to himself in bed before he falls asleep at night (on the nights he isn't jumping in Porter's bed, of course, or singing I Am A Child of God or Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam). In case you don't read it everyday the words are below.
Goodnight Moon
In the great green room there was a telephone and a red balloon and a picture of
The cow jumping over the moon and there were three little bears sitting on chairs
And two little kittens and a pair of mittens
And a little toyhouse and a young mouse
And a comb and a brush and a bowl full of mush and a quiet old lady who was whispering hush
Goodnight room, goodnight moon, goodnight cow jumping over the moon, goodnight light and the red balloon, goodnight bears, goodnight chairs, goodnight kittens and goodnight mittens, goodnight little house and goodnight mouse, goodnight comb and goodnight brush, goodnight nobody, goodnight mush, and goodnight to the old lady whispering hush, goodnight stars, goodnight air, goodnight noises everywhere.
The End
Goodnight Moon and Goodnight Carson and Goodnight Porter
This one is How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You. He got this book for Christmas from his cousin Mitch and he and Porter absolutely LOVE it! He reads this one exactly the same way that I read it to him, it's great.
How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You
You woke in the morning in such a bad mood... then sat at the table and fussed with your food.
But then you blew kisses and waved from the door. I love you, I love you, my dinosaur.
Out in the sandbox you threw lots of sand. You ran from the slide after slapping my hand.
But you suddenly turned with a smile I adore. Oh, I'll always love you, my dinosaur.
You moped through your nap time and slept not a wink.
You flooded the house when you played in the sink.
But you got out the mop and then cleaned up the floor! I love you so much, little dinosaur.
Off in the car, you kept kicking my seat... and when we got out, you were dragging your feet.
But you held my hand tight when we walked in the store. I'll love you forever, my dinosaur.
Dinner disaster! You made such a mess! Would you stay up past bedtime? The answer was YES!
But when you smile sweetly and hold back your roar, when you kiss me and hug me once, twice, even more...(skipped this page)
...that's when you give love, and I know this is true, because that's how a dinosaur says I Love You!

Laughs
Travis can really make Porter giggle. He also gets way more smiles than I do. I guess I am just the milk factory and Dad is the fun one.
