January 31st, we drove up past Payson and found a little place to play in the snow. We should have gone back up to Flagstaff, but I thought this would be closer. But we drove so much farther north that it turned out to be just as long of a drive. The boys had a lot of fun.
We found most of their snow clothes at the Flagstaff Wal-mart for $3. And the snow boots at goodwill for $3.99. Pretty awesome.
Porter was eating the snow the whole time.
Carson refused to put on his snow pants. He has a hole in his knee and got really wet, really quickly.
We wanted to have better sledding, but it wasn't the best spot for that.
Seriously, a $9 outfit!
He had a great time for 5 minutes, then sat in the car and ate snacks the rest of the time.
Porter also became a snowball making pro.
This is the best hill we found and it was perfect for the kids.
Oh, and I forgot my shoes. At least I had thermal socks.
On the way home we ate at El Rancho in Payson. I really love that place. It is a great excuse to go up there.
