Emma turned 4 months on March 25th, 2014. She was in the 95th percentile for height and 50th for weight and head. She is outgrowing her clothes so quickly because of how long she is. Emma is more alert and notices at night when I go in to put her pacifier in. She sees me and does her full body smile. A little dangerous, really. Emma took her first road trip to California. Stayed in a hotel for the first time and had her first beach trip. She also got to put her feet in the ocean. It was too cold for more than that! She loved the wind blowing in her hair.
Emma sticks out her tongue a lot and spits bubbles and babbles a lot. She LOVES attention and likes to hear you tell her anything. (I did senior pictures for a girl, and her Mom read Emma her emails. She was so entertained.) Anything captivates her if you say it sweetly and in funny voices, or if you are one of her brothers.
Emma's hair just keeps growing, it is getting so long and not a single piece has fallen out!!
Emma sucks/chews on everything. Her hands, her arms, her fingers, her clothes, her blankets. Anything that she can get to her mouth, which is still pretty tricky.
Emma started playing in her exersaucer. She can't do much, but she likes to be standing up, especially to watch the boys run around her.
She still goes cross-eyed occasionally.
She makes so many cute faces and has bed head, a lot.
Soaking another shirt with her spit bubbles.
Daddy gave her a bath and messed up her hair. It stayed that way for 3 days.
The most breastmilk reserve we have had for any baby!
Emma is great at taking small naps, anywhere. This is one Sunday afternoon after a short walk.
Emma is moving around, but not rolling places. She does roll over from tummy to back occasionally. She doesn't get a whole lot of tummy time though. When Emma is upset, or tired she is loud. When she isn't she is happy and sweet. Very fickle little girl. We love her. Happy 4 months, Emma.
